Commemorative Coin Design Unveiling Registration

The Greatest Generation Commemorative Coin Act, signed into law on August 3, 2022, authorizes the U.S. Treasury to mint coins in 2024 in commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the dedication of the National World War II Memorial in Washington, DC.

Friends of the National World War II Memorial invites you to be the first to see the final designs for the 2024 Greatest Generation Commemorative Coins. The designs for the series of Gold, Silver, and Clad coins will be unveiled on Wednesday, September 20th at 9:30 a.m. at the World War II Memorial.
