Friends of the National World War II Memorial develops and leads successful character-based education programming and community service initiatives using stories of the everyday men and women of the WWII generation to remind young people that each one of them, as an individual, has the potential to change the world for the better.
Listed below are highlights of Friends' education programs. They reflect the many ways in which we strive to foster a meaningful appreciation of the sacrifices made by the Greatest Generation—and the values that motivated them.
Friends’ programs are highly regarded and have established us as trusted leaders and innovators. We have a proven track record of accomplishing much with our small, talented, and dedicated staff. And for doing the most we possibly can with the resources made available to us. We are grateful to have earned the confidence of those who have partnered with us and provided generous support including, the United States Department of Defense, the National Endowment of the Humanities, the National Park Service, the United States Congress, FedEx, AT&T, and the Crawford Taylor Foundation.
In 2023 only, you have the opportunity to double your investment in the future of America with a significant contribution to the Friends of the National World War II Memorial’s Jack C. The Crawford Taylor Foundation of St. Louis, Missouri will match every dollar contributed, or pledged, to Friends’ education programming in 2023, up to $1 million.
Please contribute today to double the impact you can have on creating a new generation of proud Americans dedicated to selfless service to community and country.
